Together, we strive to make the college planning journey a fulfilling and successful experience for each student.
The College Planning Center was founded in 2005 with the vision of becoming a gathering place to educate, inspire, and support families as their students plan for higher education. The founder, Lynette Mathews, believes the company tagline, discover your future, embraces the goal of college planning services. The first location was in Folsom, California and soon expanded to three locations to serve the surrounding communities.
Each location served as a hub of knowledge as The College Planning Center team hosted a variety of services, ranging from one-on-one advising to events such as college fairs, career panel presentations, community service expositions, and parent information nights.
During the pandemic, The College Planning Center shifted services online and provided families with a platform to continue to explore career paths, gain an understanding of college admissions, and build a strong sense of community. Today, The College Planning Center is one of the top educational consulting organizations in the United States, helping students across the country discover their futures.
